I’m glad you found me, welcome! I’m here to help you learn skills to increase a sense of belonging, calm and importantly feel JOY, so that you can live the life you want to be living, by embracing your sensitivities.

With help to make long-term positive changes in an area of your choice; your life, living environment, education or work environment based on your unique neurodivergent needs, joy is something that is just around the corner. Using evidence-based education and strategies relating to ASD, ADHD, mental health issues and autistic burnout, I offer guidance and support for you to map your sensory processing, dopamine, serotonin and fight/flight systems.

Why Coaching?

Making sense of your wondrously unique brain will help you move away from overwhelm and chaos, towards calm, joy and purposeful living.
With your increasing understanding of your unique ND, you will cultivate self-kindness and pride in your identity and who you are in this world.
The person centred strategies, tools and skills you will learn will help you to navigate this NT world with a greater sense of choice, control and agency.
You will be able to assertively create and set up your key environments, routines and life in a way that is nourishing and supportive of you, so that you can live the life you choose to live.
Your wondrously unique brain rightfully belongs in all parts of our shared world; your school, tertiary setting, workplace, services and community. Your deepening understanding of your brain and who you are will give you confidence to ask for reasonable adjustments for you to succeed in your studies or employment.
Skill development support as you try different strategies to regulate your nervous system, emotions and sensory processing system. Sarah offers honest and kind feedback and support as you develop the self-literacy of your unique brain and what you need to live the life you want to live.

Who do I help?

Adults recently diagnosed with ASD, ADHD or both

Making sense of life and identity after a recent diagnosis can be exciting, daunting and for some stressful. There’s a lot of information, strategies and approaches available, but it’s not easy to work out what will be of real benefit to you, and what changes you can make now to feel more calm and joy swiftly.  

Those diagnosed as neurodivergent as an adult

It doesn’t matter how long ago you were diagnosed as an adult. Coaching with Sarah is flexible and based on your needs, goals and values.  Coaching can support you to navigate life transitions, imbed habits, reach goals or get clarity on where you want to be. 

Those without a formal diagnosis, but consider themselves self-diagnosed with ADHD, ASD or both 

A formal diagnosis isn’t necessary to reap the benefits of coaching with Sarah.   

Those unsure if they’re ND, but curious to explore whether they are

If you’re curious and wondering if you are neurodivergent, this coaching service will give you clarity about your wondrously unique brain. There is no judgement or assessment in whether you are neurotypical or neurodivergent.  

Parents and Carers of sensitive or neurodivergent children or teens

It can be stressful, frustrating and overwhelming to support a sensitive or neurodivergent child or teen.   Sarah draws on her knowledge and experience from her training as a behaviour support practitioner to work within the family system. Working in collaboration with Sarah will bring calm into the family home, and hope for your child’s future.  

Those experiencing PTSD and recovering from trauma

This coaching service is trauma informed. Sarah has lived experience of PTSD, and has worked extensively with adults with significant trauma for over 20 years.

Those who are not neurodivergent, but generally curious and keen to bring joy into their life

Every person can benefit from having a deeper understanding of their brain, and a coach to help live purposefully and joyfully.

How do I help?

I create and hold a safe and supportive space- empathy, listen, reflect, honest feedback, understanding 
We work as a team: In collaboration together, combining my expertise, personal experience and education, and your wisdom/practice/experiments between sessions
I am with you on the way- to brainstorm, suggest evidence based strategies, tools, and work on skill development
You do the experiments between sessions and report back 
Help you to identify goals, priorities, obstacles and together we plan a way forward that works for you
Accountability support to help you imbed new habits and keep on top of life’s chores and tasks

3-Phase Coaching Plan

While I have a 3 phase coaching plan, it is flexible and can be easily tailored to suit your needs.

Phase One

Current Challenges and Goals 

Firstly we chat together about what you feel your current obstacles or challenges are, as well as what your goals are for us to work on together.  It’s okay if you’re unsure about these areas, we can work this out together. This usually takes place in the first and sometimes the second session.

Phase Two

Developing Self-Literacy of Your Wondrously Unique Brain and Heart 

Developing self-literacy in key areas of your unique brain, mind and heart takes time.   We will go on a quest together, as curious scientists, to understand how your systems operate.  With my qualifications and experience, I can provide you with person-centred expertise, strategies, tools and skills for you to trial and explore between sessions.  Your role will be to report back what you discovered and experienced, and we build on what you find out.

We will map and explore one area of your brain over several weeks to several months, depending on what you choose to work on, how complex your wondrously unique brain is, and how many spoons
you have while on this nourishing Self-Literacy Quest.

Areas I can guide you to map and explore include;

Executive functioning
Emotion regulation 
As part of the coaching you’ll be encouraged and guided to explore these areas too;

Phase Three

Bringing Goodness into Your Life to Support Your Wondrously Unique Brain

Your growing understanding of what your unique brain needs to feel calm, joyful and safe will inform what we work on together in this phase. And this is phase I help you to be accountable in imbedding a new habit or skill.

Coaching Options

All packages include a baseline assessment to get an understanding of what the current challenges are for you, and where you are at. This will be emailed to you, and you will be asked to fill it in and email it becak before your first session.

There are three coaching programs available: Exploratory Joy Diving (6 weeks), Joy Diving Immersion (3 months) and Deep Joy Diving (6 months).
